Our Story

The WELEYO Foundation was founded with a dream but powerful goal in mind - to provide a second chance for those in need. Our founder, driven by a deep empathy for the struggles of the homeless, decided to take action and create a place where individuals can find shelter, hot meals, and job resources to help them end the cycle of homelessness. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, and we are dedicated to making that a reality. We know that it is very difficult to find the resources to help people. We too are currently struggling financially due to awaiting social security benefits that made us loose our home. I am very grateful that I have a great husband who is supportive and has pushed me to following my dream of opening up The Weleyo Foundation to help others in the same situation as we are. We also the have the support from my mother and his father who have given us the chance to get this far. It’s the small things that make it possible to succeed. The system makes it very difficult for people who are struggling and want to ask for assistance but they embarrassed themselves, once we have the support from the government and community to purchase the property, we will have our doors open to anyone who is need of assistance. Whether it’s a place to stay temporarily just to get the money together for their own place or if it’s just for a meal. We will have it for anyone. We need to come together UNITED and END HOMELESSNESS once and for all. I know that this will definitely help my dreams come true and we are SUCCESSFUL in the future. Eventually, opening up Nationwide as a resource for all our communities.
